Required Skills and Experience:

  • Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) - Speaking, writing, listening, and reading comprehension
  • Business-level English (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent) - Speaking, writing, listening, and reading comprehension
    • Language usage frequency: Japanese will be used for communication with the in-house operation staff. For communication with clients, Japanese will be translated to English.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Providing customer support in Japanese or English
    • Launching new projects
    • Planning and promoting new projects
    • Working as a client liaison
    • Regularly participating in client proposal meetings
    • Team building and operational management
    • Working experience in Japan
  • Strong business PC skills, IT literacy, touch typing, business email etiquette, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to independently research and utilize IT tools and possess strong internet research skills. (The role requires the use of various IT tools like Slack, Skype, etc., for chat communication.)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Job Description

We are seeking a Supervisor (SV) to manage the operations of our team and act as a liaison between our clients and our team. In this role, you will not only oversee the work and attendance of our staff but also handle client-facing tasks. This is a position where you can develop your skills through responsibilities such as creating daily and monthly reports, and leading meetings.

You will be joining a team that provides various customer support services, including those for e-commerce sites, web services, and game applications. Your primary responsibilities will involve bridging the gap between our operational staff and our clients. This will involve communicating client requests in English daily and managing the team for optimal efficiency.

Communication will be in both English and Japanese. While the primary language used within the company and with operational staff is Japanese, you will be translating Japanese to English and vice versa when interacting with clients.

Responsibilities:

・Liaise and coordinate with clients

・Manage the quality of operations, work efficiency, and workflow

You will be primarily managing a team of operational staff working from different locations, including Tokyo, Fukuoka, and the Philippines. Daily communication will be conducted through online tools such as Skype and Google Meet, requiring you to utilize both English and Japanese for smooth workflow.
