Job Description
Our company is famous as one of Japan’s largest multi-channel digital satellite broadcasting, and its space business division provides satellite communication services covering Japan, all of Asia, Oceania, Russia, the Middle East, Hawaii, and North America. To ensure that our clients have trouble-free use of our satellite systems for conferences, Wi-Fi, etc., we coordinate and troubleshoot satellite line locations, handle testing for new applications, and provide general support.
Most of our clients are from overseas, including countries such as the U.S., Korea, India, and Taiwan.
【Main Activities】
+ Management and operator services for satellite line use
(monitoring and control of conditions, management of communication performance, and operations for management of transponder use)
+ Support for line setup, troubleshooting and restoration in case of failure
+ Mail, Chat and Telephone support
+ Various tester operations
+ Interpretation (During the on-the-job training period, we may ask you to interpret or translate chat content for overseas clients regarding their problems when they are trained by a Japanese person)
+ Establishment of the line operation system, conducting drills and training of operators (In the future, we may ask for on-the-job training for newcomers)
+ Research and information gathering on technologies and products related to circuit operation
+General operations
The team you will be joining belongs to the customer support department that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and whose team members are people of various ages and nationalities.
